SF 7649 primer (activator) for anaerobic adhesives and sealants, especially passive metals, inert surfaces and large gaps. Clear to green, about 2 mPa·s, acetone base. On-part life about 30 days. Dries in about 30–70 seconds. Sourcebook lists MIL-S-22473E for existing designs, ASTM D-5363, NSF/ANSI 61, NSF P1 and CFIA. Golden Range describes the same activator role. Packs include 1.75 fl oz, 25 g aerosol, 4.5 oz aerosol and 1 gallon; Golden Range also lists 150 ml and 500 ml. Figures follow the LOCTITE Adhesive Sourcebook 2024.
