LOCTITE® 402 instant adhesive. Fast-fixturing cyanoacrylate for medical-device assembly, with service up to 135 °C. Colour Clear. Viscosity 110 cP (Brookfield, 25 °C). Service −54 to 135 °C. Humidity cure. Chart substrates: thermoplastics, thermoset plastics, metals and elastomers, including rubber. Packs: 20 g bottle, 500 g bottle. IDH: 2714628 (20 g), 2712746 (500 g). The instant-adhesive section also describes 402 as tested to Henkel’s ISO-10993 biocompatibility protocols, with service up to 275 °F. The LOCTITE Adhesive Sourcebook 2024 medical-device chart marks this grade ISO 10993 compliant. Confirm the current TDS before a device file cites a specific part of ISO 10993.
