Henkel Australia product data sheet, LOCTITE ML-11 MAINTAIN LUBRICANT, October 2013: a light, semi-drying oil spray that penetrates, lubricates, displaces water, cleans surfaces and protects metal against corrosion. The sheet lists penetration of rusted assemblies, moisture displacement (surface tension 23.4 dynes/cm), lubrication under extreme pressure, rust prevention on steel in high humidity (85 days at 100% relative humidity), and light degreasing of surface plates, chucks, wire and other machined or polished metal. Specific gravity 0.80. Service temperature 5 to 35 °C. Propellant LPG (3:7). Odour slightly petroleum; colour is given only as “characteristic”. Shake before use; spray from 5–10 cm with or without the straw. Shelf life 24 months; optimal storage 10 to 20 °C. The 360 ml English aerosol is sold as LOCTITE LB ML-11 AE360MLEN with stock code 41106. That code is not printed on the October 2013 sheet.
